Visitor’s plea for help
A visitor to the site left a comment and I thought I would share the comment and maybe someone that reads this could help her out. Here is her comment and then the only advice I could think of is below that. If you can offer some other advice to her please just leave a comment
Cher asks:
“I want to start a round robin and would like to do it with quilters from all of the cities or towns of Coleman’s in the USA I’ve tracked down a few. Any one out there who can give me any suggestions as to how to find those quilters?
Also how do I find out how many Coleman’s there are in the US? In the Coleman’s I know I’ve tried writing to the post office , the library and the nearest quilt shops.”
Now the one thing I wasn’t sure of was if you wanted towns in the USA named Coleman or people named Coleman. So I gave a piece of advise for both.
One of the things you could try Cher is to go online and do a search for quilt guilds around the USA. Then you could write, email or call the guilds and let them know what you are proposing to do and see if they are willing to help.
If you are looking for towns named Coleman then just go to Mapquest and search every State for a town called Coleman, then see if any of those towns have a quilt guild there or close by and then contact them.
Hope this helps. Pickleweed
