Remembering September 11th, 2001
I always remember 911 with a lengthy morning prayer, asking God to please remember the victims families, especially the children who lost loved ones on that and subsequent days.
The families and loved ones affected by the terror attacks in New York, at the Pentagon and Flight 93.
I hope you too will say a prayer for them as they mature into adulthood. Also pray that any future terrorist attacks are thwarted. God has performed many miracles and as far as I am concerned will continue to do so.
The area that once held the twin towers is still a gaping hole to this day, I don’t see anything wrong with that. People complain that a memorial hasn’t been built yet.
To me those two empty holes are a memorial!
It takes a long time to heal a monstous wound and these holes represent the gaping holes that are in the hearts of all those that were affected that day. I am sure the holes are healing and as the memorial will be built, their hearts will build a memorial as well.
I think much of that is because I hope that we as a nation, never forget September 11, 2001.
Please continue your prayers for our Armed Forces men and women stationed in various locations around the world. May God cover and comfort them as they are fighting to keep our country safe.
I am proud to be a wife, daughter and sibling of uniformed and retired members of the American Armed Forces.
I watched the Path to 911 last night and found it to be a good movie and I look forward to the second part this evening.
I thought Donnie Wahlberg did a great job in the movie, I almost thought I was watching Mark his brother the acting was so similar.
I look forward to seeing Patricia Heaton in the second part this evening.
