Latest EQ6 Round Robin Project
I joined in on another Electric Quilt Round Robin Swap. If you have EQ you can download the project by clicking on the photo of the finished project.
In case you don’t know what an Electric Quilt swap is, I will give a brief explanation.
Electric Quilt has a area on their website under Community then Club EQ where you can sign up and as soon as they get 3 other sign-ups they group you together.
They are pretty good about making sure that the others in your group are just as new or advanced as you are.
I am still a newbie swapper and so I am not being paired up with the advanced EQ6 users. Thank Goodness, this way I am not intimidated about messing up their superior designs. If you look on the website you can see previous swaps that were done and you can tell that some gals have been using this program a long time and probably every day. Me I just use it every once in a while, usually if I am trying to figure something out.
Once the group is formed it is up to the group to pick a leader. The leaders job is to make sure the group swaps on time etc. Then as a group you can choose a theme. The theme we decided on for this swap was Stars and the color scheme had to be all baby pastels or all monochromatic. As you can see I did the monochromatic center star piece.
I hope you enjoy the project. I have others to upload at a later date, including one that was going to be a mystery quilt.
