Wow 3 months since a post!

Well I do have a great excuse. Less computer time and more quilting time until this week. I have been working on the site for the Applique Group that I got started here in Georgia. Here is the link if you want to have a look at it. Southern Magnolia Applique Stitchers. I am pretty happy with it. I just finished the photo album section of the site today and hope to get the photo album section of this part of my site updated soon.

I have been getting a lot done and hope to continue at this pace. : ) We know how that goes. Have fun and happy quilting!!!

Busy, Busy, Busy

Sorry for the lack of posts lately, just trying to get some projects finished, been working on an X block quilt top, 35 blocks for a swap and my batik top. I am traveling to see the Gees Bend quilts today at the High Musseum and then maybe next week I can get some time to upload photos of all the great stuff I have been making. Til then Happy Quilting

My web host informed me last week that the server needed to be replaced and so they put my site back up with the last backup they had and now I am rebuilding everything back up with the last back ups I had and I hope to have this done later this week so bear with me.

Quilting Workshop

Well I am off today for the local quilt guild meeting with the Cherokee Rose Quilter’s and it will be even more fun than usual because we are having a workshop that our guild is sponsoring. One of the gals Taffy McLaughlin who teaches at Intown Quilter’s Quiltshop is coming down to give us a fun day filled with Batiks and a stack the deck method of creating our quilt top. I will post pictures when I get it done and let you know how much fun it was.
